Christmas Party

Wow! What a fantastic day for Year Two. We were thoroughly entertained by Taz and then to top it all we had lots of fun playing musical statues and pass the parcel!

As part of our current Science topic we have been looking at what mud and soil is made from. To start our investigation we put on our wellies and walked to the school fields to find some mud specimens! We all had great fun finding the mud samples and then brought them back to class to use…

Christmas is on its way!

We have started off the festive season watching the panto Jack and the beanstalk.

Learning Afternoon- Tuesday 1st December

Pupils invited their parents into school to show case their fundamental skills in PE.

We were involved in a variety of interesting activities during Anti Bullying Week which helped us to think about what we need to do if we are concerned about bullying.  This year's theme was 'Make a noise about bullying' and our parents joined us for a sing a long!

Well done Year 4! They won the award last half term for the best attendance. Their reward was a party and £15 to spend on snacks. Fingers crossed we win again this term!

We have been very busy creating our Christmas crafts to sell at the Christmas fair on Friday.

Mrs Martin showed us how to sew our stocking tree decorations together. Now we are ready to add some sequins and decorate them. We think they make the perfect decoration for your tree so we hope lots…

PCSO WIlcock came to talk to the children about his job.

He reminded the children to always wear their seatbelts when in a car and talked about how to stay safe near busy roads.

Mrs Nelson came in to see us in her uniform and explained her job to us. We enjoyed learning about how to cross the road safely.
