Welcome to Gillibrand Primary School.   A school with high standards, high expectations and high status.  A school that is fully inclusive and gives all children the very best opportunities; irrespective of their social background, race, gender, disability or belief.

Gillibrand is a happy and caring school with a nurturing environment where all staff work together to ensure the best outcomes for all its pupils.  We are passionate about creating a positive culture that ensures our school vision and values is at the heart of all we do.  It is our strong vision, linked to our mission statement and values, that guides our pupils thinking and behaviours to create a culture where pupils learn to live positive, universal values.  This is overarched by our vision statement ‘We Nurture Children’s Dreams’.  Not only do we encourage pupils to have high aspirations but through our carefully designed curriculum we ensure that children have the knowledge, skills, values and attributes to be whatever they dream to be and to develop into citizens that make positive contributions to the world they live in.

As a community school, community is at the heart of everything we do.  As such, we have created an exciting and engaging curriculum bespoke to our children and our community.  This is continuously reviewed and adapted to ensure all children thrive and flourish, and achieve their full potential, both personally and academically.

I hope that our website gives you a flavour of what Gillibrand is about but also acts as a source of information for those with children at Gillibrand.  To get a true feel of the Gillibrand community, and our culture, we recommend a visit.  We are always delighted to show you around so you can see what we are about.

On behalf of myself, pupils, staff, parents and governors, thank you for taking the time to enjoy and celebrate our school and all we offer.
