Tremendous Trains project.

In year 4 we have been learning about Tremendous Trains.

The children were set a homework challenge to complete a simple project about trains. Their finished project could include: handwritten pieces, typed pieces, pictures/photographs or drawings.

They also had ideas of:

A time line of trains, from the first ever train to modern trains and what they could be like in the future.
Design your own train model – Flying Scotsman – The Rocket etc.
Interesting train facts or pictures of different types of trains through History.
Write a menu for somebody in 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd class.

This week the children brought their projects into school to show the rest of the class. The children also shared their projects with year 3 and told them everything they had learnt.

I have been so impressed with the different range of projects that came into school. We have had fact files, clay models, DT models that light up, hand written pieces, typed pieces and many more. It was lovely to see timelines and trains from the past and for the future.
