Today's trip to Brockholes Nature Reserve in Preston was an unforgettable experience for our pupils, bringing learning to life in the most exciting way. Throughout the day, the children immersed themselves in a variety of hands-on activities inspired by the Stone Age, including foraging for natural resources, learning early hunting techniques, creating their own cave-style artwork, and even trying their hand at fire lighting. One of the highlights was den building, where teamwork and creativity were on full display. The enthusiasm and curiosity shown by the children were truly wonderful to see, and it was clear they thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this engaging and educational adventure.
