This week we invited parents into school to take a step back in time as we began our 'pre-learning' work.  The children and myself loved having parents and family members in the classroom, supporting them with their learning.  Children and adults alike enjoyed researching and finding out abut the Anglo-Saxons and Vikings, as well as sharing with me their own areas of interests linked to the topic.  I can't wait to start teaching this exciting topic!  I am sure the children are also excited as there was a huge 'buzz' within the classroom following the topic launch!
