The summer term kicked off in exciting fashion with the arrival of some mysterious eggs in our classroom one lunchtime. Who had laid these mysterious eggs? Would they hatch out? What would hatch out of them?
The children suggested some imaginative and interesting possible answers to these questions.
The eggs had hatched by the next day and had already left their nest...leaving behind some clues within the eggs about what kind of animal they could have hatched into. We deduced that they must be some kind of dinosaur and went off to hunt for them. Lots of fun and lots of learning about dinosaurs and other animals has already taken place.
