Year 6 have started looking at the significance of the equator and the Tropic of Capricorn and Tropic of Cancer as to where rainforests develop. Pupils worked in groups to study one continent that has a rainforest looking at the physical features and the positioning on Earth.

The maps they created look fantastic and they have worked extremely hard to accurately represent all physical features. We are looking forward to creating a 3D rainforest next.
