After finishing this class novel, we have awarded Holes by Louis Sachar, 5 stars! We all LOVED it!

As a treat for working so hard this week in their SATs, the children will be able to watch Disney's version of Holes to compare the book with the film.

Here are some of the comments from Year 6 pupils:

I like the book Holes because none of the characters ever give up  - Lemoni

I really enjoyed the book because it was funny and was about two friends who never gave up even though they faced difficult times - William

My favourite part was when Stanley and Zero climbed up the mountain and ate only onions for a week - Eddie

My favourite part was when Kate Barlow was trying to save Sam from being killed. This was a really intense moment - Henry
