90^th Birthday Celebrations

Wednesday 8^th June – Friday 10^th June 2016

Over the past three days at school the children have been doing lots of different activities to celebrate the Queen’s 90^th Birthday. We have made a time line of the Queen’s life and compared the reign of Queen Victoria to that of Queen Elizabeth,  as well as designing new postage stamps and drawing portraits of the Queen. 

  We have learnt the National Anthem and Land of Hope and Glory to sing at the birthday lunch and on the day we made flags and a party hat. We had fun joining in with the  whole school for dancing through the decades to different songs like Lets Twist Again, Agadoo and Saturday Night. This has been a day we will remember.
