Over the last term, Year 3 have been learning all about Ancient Rome. We have learned about their army, empire, buildings clothes and food! we used this knowledge in DT to make a spelt bread using a Roman recipe. First we tasted a range of breads and ingredients the Romans used, then weighed and measured our ingredients before kneading the bread and baking it. Finally we got to taste it with a choice of topping!
