In science this half-term, Year 3 have been investigating what plants need in order to survive. Recently we have been growing runner beans and today we began our investigation by removing a key element that we have learned plants need to survive. We split into teams and each team removed a different element, either light, air, space, water or soil. Over the next few weeks we will compare each plant’s progress with our initial observations from today.
