Year 3 walked to Astley Park Cenotaph to pay their respect to the people who fought and sacrificed their lives during the First World War and made a real difference in our community and the legacy that they left. Prior to the walk, we learned about Remembrance Day and its importance in British history and British Values. Whilst we were there, we held a minutes silence to think about things we were grateful for in our lives before doing some art work that reflected our learning.
