The children of KS1 will be walking to Chorley library on Wednesday 25th September.  The children will have the opportunity to visit the library, meet and talk to the librarians, take a look at all the exciting books and events happening at the library, become a member of the library and choose a book to take home.  Whilst walking to the library, the children will also be looking closely at the geographical features of the locality and we will also take a look at the 'Henry Tate' in Chorley, a building named after the famous local person that the children will be learning about over the following weeks.  The trip will be rounded off by a fun picnic in the park where the children will get the opportunity to share their books with each other - let's hope for a sunny day!
